Like the surfer who follows the nature of waves I have followed my inner voice always and played towards the next happening with total enthusiasm and excitement.

I never wanted to be in a TV Show Late Night Band.I never wanted a steady job with anyone.I loved the freedom the jingle business gave me and the excitement to always strive for excellence over perfection.The New York Studio world was a perfect environment for a person like me.I liked the the hit and spilt world of the fast paced jingle world in the 1980’s. In one hour you could see and play with some of the best of the best musicians New York had to offer. You could make much money for the least amount of time and if a spot ran you could collect residuals for years. This corner of the music business gave me freedom to do what ever I wanted to with my music.It spoiled me for sure.I would practice continually with the TV on in the back ground hearing and seeing TV commercials that I played on continually. I always felt a wonderful feeling anticipating the next phone call, the next opportunity, It motivated me completely to keep a high level of excellence on all my horns with constant individual lessons on each double that I played. The next happening soon presented itself. .I eventually started a jingle company with two partners after meeting so many key people in the advertising field .Financial success flowed but my heart of hearts passion was to only be a player. Technology started showing promise of sending compressed audio files over the internet. I saw this as the next happening and a game changer that I could incorporate into my thinking and eventually make it work for me.I felt like Thomas Edison sending 10 second audio files to my computer geek nephew who helped me pioneer this budding technology. Everything got faster, better got better ,faster got faster.

Now, 18 years later I have expanded my recording business to the point of having world wide clients and my daily excitement to maintain my playing and engaged creatively with the artists I collaborate with is truly a satisfying life style for me.

I am always considering what is Next as only a personal choice. Next is a way of thinking that never allows me to stay to long at any one thing. The committing to group ,show or band was never part of thinking.

Because the the internet is my play ground I can find like minded musicians who eagerly want to exchange and collaborate in a his way.

The future excites me more than I can contain at the endless opportunities for deeper exploration in many fields with the expansion of our present technologies.
